|
Dear Residents, Here is your crime update for the 2nd of April to the 10th of April 2026.
Overnight on the 7th to the 8th of April, unknown offenders stole the catalytic converter from an MG on SHUSTOKE ROAD.
On the 3rd of April, unknown offenders stole a mountain bicycle from a shed on SHUSTOKE ROAD.
Good news! Last week there was a theft of a motorcycle in Solihull Town Centre. Officers on the LEOS team worked with other officers and this resulted in six suspects being arrested. The motorbike has been returned to its owner. An excellent collaboration. There was an attempt to break into an address on FRANKTON CLOSE, we have arrested three suspects in relation to this matter. The investigation is still ongoing.
Motorcycle and moped awareness This week’s crime prevention advice is about preventing motorcycle and moped theft. If you own a motorcycle or moped, you may find these tips useful: Lock your moped with a disc lock or D lock on the front wheel. Chain your bike to a street anchor or street furniture when parking in public. If not possible, thread the chain through the bike frame and back wheel. Use the steering lock and remove the keys. Property mark the bike parts.
